Dining In: Salem Cross Inn chef shares winter favorite French onion soup

There’s nothing like the pleasures of simple, delicious comfort food when the blustery days of winter roll around.

For executive chef Laurent Olivier of the Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield, a bowl of French onion soup is on his list of favorites when the weather gets cold.
